our strength is unimaginable.
first the war, the harm, the loss, helplessness, the escaping, leaving everything behind, home, family and memories, our belonging, the awful difficulties in camps, the uneasy journey to looking safety and protection, being terrified in the hand of smugglers and human traffickers where they could kill us to get Ransome money. and ones we got to a new country, the fear of detentions, the deportation, the look of people in the street, the immigration officers and policies, the politicians filthy mouth, the unjust laws that exclude us from living the normal life, the hardship to fit in a new place, a new society, a new culture, a new system, a new way of living. the hardship to find belongingness ones we left it behind long away.
We survived and we deal with all those incredible life challenges but we still show up with great courage and strength, with love and kindness, because our only desire is safety, protection, peace, and love to us and the whole world.
we are not telling our stories to you, the people of the world to feel sorry for us, but for you to understand we have a mystery strength to fight life. and we can be on our own and do our parts to make the world a better place and safer if you just stop limiting our very basic rights.
